Ambrosial Apple Cobbler

Filling:

4-6 Apples
1 tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Nutmeg
3 tbsp Sugar
3 tbsp Arrowroot Powder
¼ c Water or Apple Juice

Topping:

4 tbsp Butter
1 ½ c Millet Flour
¼ tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Salt
¼ c Sugar

Directions:

Core and slice apples into a 9×9 pan. In a separate pan, combine and mix filling ingredients then pour over apple slices. In another bowl, mix topping ingredients except the butter. Chop up the butter into little pieces and stir into topping mixture until well incorporated. Now add a little liquid (water or apple juice) until a soft dough is formed.

Drop tablespoons of the dough on top of the apple mixture. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
